Huawei P8

Huawei P8

Now we know almost for sure: the next flagship smartphone Huawei will be the P8. The decision of the Chinese to eliminate the word “Ascend” from the name of its new smartphones have already said. Now let’s focus on the unit.

Huawei P8

New images (stolen) of this new super-smartphones have appeared a few days ago in the network, the Twitter account @ fx57 turkish Erdi Özüağ. As you can easily see, the design of the device follows, roughly, that of his predecessors, namely dell’Ascend P6 and P7 dell’Ascend. So very slim phone, from sophisticated finishes and elegant lines: slightly rounded edges and logo visible (there where you see the word “phone” will probably be written Huawei).

The Huawei P8 should therefore be a smartphone with a nice big screen 1080p, 5.2 inches – therefore slightly larger than the model Ascend P7 – 3 GB of RAM and eight-core SoC product at home, that the new model Kirin 930, produced by HISILICON architecture with 64bit ARM big.LITTLE type. The budget of the mass memory on which to save apps and data is not yet known however.

Looking at the picture of the back of this smartphone it soon becomes clear that the rear camera (apparently a 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilizer) will be supported by a double flash the LEDs; his position is different from that first appeared in a photo popped up online, but perhaps in this case it was a first model with the design still in beta. Nothing is yet known about the characteristics of the front lens, but certainly a camera for Selfie will be present on the device – just look at the photos.

Fueling this beautiful beast there should be a battery yourself 2.600mAh; we use the term “only” because for phablet with funding from top of the class you always expect batteries with many milliamps, since aparecchi like that are very demanding in terms of energy. However just the CEO of Huawei – Richard Yu – spoke in favor of equipment as efficiently as possible, in terms of energy, enough to get to bacchettare competitors who have not taken account of this aspect.

Without fear of contradiction, we can state that the Huawei P8 will likely be announced in a few months, but no later than June 2015, although we can not exclude that already face peeking at the next Mobile World Congress. No information yet on the price and the markets in which it will be sold.

But the news on Huawei equipment does not end there. It appears that next March 2015 edition of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Chinese company will bring the Ascend Mate 7 Mini: a version very similar to its flagship phablet but with slightly reduced in size. By 6 inches full of big brother will be switched to a smaller display – probably 5.5 – that in the range of device brand you will situate right between the Ascend Mate 7 and the aforementioned P8. Appliance “compact” yet know very little, but you can assume the presence of a chip Kirin 925 and a 13-megapixel rear camera, in short, a hardware sector is not too dissimilar from that of the “big” of the unit.
