Microsoft has officially unveiled the latest version of its mobile operating system, Windows Phone 8.1, Windows 8.1 desktop platform at the same time, through the Microsoft Build conference for developers in 2014.

The new version, users administered through numerous updates, proved indeed interesting – especially with features like Cortana – and Microsoft’s platform has taken a bit ‘more color.

Despite, however, the main lineup of smartphones with Windows Phone 8 (that of Nokia) behaves well, the operating system needs new sources of income to achieve the desired traction. For this purpose, the Redmond company has forged new partnerships with several manufacturers, some of whom engaged in emerging markets; according to some rumors, for example, Lenovo will soon launch its first smartphone with Windows Phone 8.1.
